One Exam Stands Between You and Your Degree. Let's Clear It.
In Florida, you can't earn a degree until you satisfy the civic literacy requirement, and the FCLE is how most students do it. Clear it in high school and it never becomes a problem. Clear it in college and it stops being the last thing between you and your diploma. Either way, we'll get you to a passing score.
★★★★★ Trusted by Florida high school and college students statewide · Confidence is built, not born.
In College, the FCLE Isn't Optional
Florida public colleges and universities won't award your degree until you satisfy the civic literacy requirement, and passing the FCLE is the most common way to do it.
Failed it in high school? Transferred from another state? Just enrolled at a Florida college? Same deal: this has to get done before you can graduate. And every retake costs time, it can push your graduation date back a whole semester.
The fastest way out is to pass it once, the right way. That's exactly what this boot camp is built to do.
One Boot Camp. Wherever You Are Right Now.
The FCLE is the same exam for everyone. What changes is the pressure you're under when you take it. Find yourself below.
Still in High School
The FCLE won't hold up your high school diploma, but the same exam is waiting for you in college, where it will. Clear it now, with time on your side, and walk in already done with it.
Didn't Pass in High School
No problem, but now it's a graduation requirement. We'll get you over the line so it stops following you around.
Transfer Students
Moved to Florida from another state? If you haven't satisfied an equivalent civics requirement, the FCLE applies to you too.
Enrolled & On the Clock
Already in a Florida college or university? Knock this out before it can delay the degree you're paying for.
Applies across the Florida College System and State University System, including UF, FSU, UCF, USF, FIU, FAU, FGCU, Miami Dade College, Broward College, Valencia College, HCC, and SPC.
Why Florida Civics Prep Works (When Cramming Doesn't)
Most students who fail the FCLE didn't fail because they don't know civics. They failed because they prepared the wrong way, memorizing facts between their other classes and hoping it sticks. That's not how this exam works.

The Four FCLE Competencies
Competency One. American Democracy
Understanding of the basic principles and practices of American democracy and how they are applied in our republican form of government.
On the exam: you won't just define these principles, you'll apply them to scenarios you've never seen. That's exactly what we drill.
Competency Two. The U.S. Constitution
Understanding of the United States Constitution and its application.
On the exam: it's not Constitution trivia, it's applying the Constitution to real situations. We teach the question pattern.
Competency Three. Founding Documents
Knowledge of the founding documents and how they have shaped the nature and functions of our institutions of self-government.
On the exam: you connect founding documents to how government actually works today, not memorize dates.
Competency Four. Landmark Cases & Laws
Understanding of landmark Supreme Court cases, landmark legislation, and landmark executive actions and their impact on law and society.
On the exam: landmark cases and laws show up as application questions. We show you exactly how they're tested.
Competency definitions per the Florida Department of Education. Tap a competency to explore it.

"Florida Civics Prep was a HUGE help in setting me up to pass the exam. I passed at the beginning of April, and thanks to them I get to graduate and receive my degree in May!"Oprah P., FCLE Student
"I've always had pretty bad test anxiety, but I managed to pass the FCLE and definitely couldn't have done it without this course. Don't even think twice, purchase it and you will pass."Alexa M., FCLE Student
Your Student Can Clear This. Quickly.
If you're here because your son or daughter can't graduate until they pass the Florida Civic Literacy Exam, here's the short version. It's one test, it's passable, and most students clear it in a few weeks of focused prep.
Nobody Warned You
Florida made the FCLE a graduation requirement in 2021 and applied it to students already enrolled. Plenty of families find out late. That's the system, not something your student missed.
It's One Test, Not a Course
Four competencies, a published blueprint, a set number of questions. It's structured and predictable, which is exactly why it can be prepared for efficiently.
You're Covered Either Way
Every plan carries the Pass Guarantee. If your student does the program and doesn't pass, they get their money back. That's the whole risk.
What to do next: send them the free practice test. It takes about an hour and shows which of the four competencies needs the work. If they want the full boot camp after that, it's $20 a month and they can cancel anytime.
FCLE FAQs
Do I have to pass the FCLE to graduate college in Florida?
Yes. Florida public colleges and universities require you to satisfy the civic literacy requirement to graduate, and passing the FCLE is the most common way to do it. Until it's done, your degree is on hold.
What happens if I fail the FCLE in college? Can I retake it?
You can retake it. Florida does not cap the number of attempts. But every retake costs time and can delay your graduation. If you complete Florida Civics Prep as designed and still don't pass, we refund you.
I failed the FCLE in high school, now what?
It carries into college as a graduation requirement. The good news: this boot camp is built to get you over the line so it stops following you around.
I transferred to Florida from another state, does it apply to me?
If you haven't already satisfied an equivalent civic literacy requirement, then yes, you'll need to meet Florida's requirement, and the FCLE is how most transfer students do it.

I'm still in high school. Is this for me?

My child has to pass this. Can I set it up for them?
Plenty of parents do. You can create the account, handle the billing and hand your student the login. If you want to see how they're doing, ask them to show you their progress page. It tracks every competency, so you'll both know where they actually stand instead of guessing.
