Dr. Jason Ampel [aka Dr. A]

CEO & Founder
Dr. Jason Ampel has been in the field of education for over 23 years. He began his career as a social studies teacher in Orange County and Lake County Schools for 10 years, followed by serving as a  Full-time Professor and Adjunct Professor at the University of Central Florida for another 10 years teaching bachelors, masters and doctoral courses within the College of Education.

In 2014, he started a company called The Learning Liaisons, which has helped nearly 60,000 teachers across the U.S. prepare for and pass a variety of teacher certification exams. 

Jason is now leveraging the knowledge he has accumulated as an educator and business builder to help high school and college students pass their Florida Civics Literacy Exam.

Mr. Andy Wade

Social Studies Specialist & Boot camp leader
Andrew Wade is a passionate educator dedicated to making history engaging and relevant for his students. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Social Science Education and possesses certifications in Social Science for grades 6-12 and Mathematics for grades 5-9.

Now in his 16th year of teaching, Mr. Wade has held roles such as Grade Level Leader and Social Studies Department Leader. He has conducted district-wide trainings on integrating technology in the classroom and implementing flipped classroom models. To support this, he runs a YouTube channel where he provides educational content tailored to his students. He has also led workshops on implementing scales and standards-based grading in Social Studies.

Throughout his career, Mr. Wade has taught World History, U.S. History, and Civics to 6th, 7th, and 8th graders. For two years, he served as a New Teacher Center Trained Mentor, guiding new educators in his school.

Mr. Wade has enhanced his teaching skills through various grants from the Teaching American History program, which included field studies across the country led by period scholars. A significant focus of these trainings has been the effective use of primary sources in Social Studies.

He is deeply committed to connecting historical lessons to his students’ lives, engaging them actively with the content, and fostering a deep understanding of history’s relevance today.
