Dr. Jason Ampel
Dr. Jason Ampel ("Dr. A") has spent 23+ years in education — 10 years teaching social studies in Orange County and Lake County schools, and 10 years as a professor in the University of Central Florida's College of Education, teaching bachelor's, master's, and doctoral courses.
In 2014 he founded The Learning Liaisons, where he helped 70,000+ educators across the U.S. prepare for and pass their certification exams. Today he brings that classroom, university, and exam-prep experience to one mission: helping Florida high school and college students pass the FCLE.
A self-described B-track student who taught himself to beat tests, Dr. A builds everything on one belief — confidence is built, not born.
Andy Wade
Andrew "Andy" Wade holds a bachelor's in Social Science Education, with certifications in Social Science (grades 6–12) and Mathematics (grades 5–9). Now in his 16th year of teaching, he's served as Grade Level Leader and Social Studies Department Leader.
He has led district-wide trainings on classroom technology integration and flipped-classroom models, runs an educational YouTube channel, and led workshops on standards-based grading. Andy has taught World History, U.S. History, and Civics, served two years as a New Teacher Center–trained mentor, and earned Teaching American History grants featuring primary-source field studies led by period scholars.
At Florida Civics Prep, Andy leads the video instruction — turning the FCLE's four competencies into clear, exam-focused lessons students actually retain.
