You can retake it — Florida does not cap the number of FCLE attempts. But every retake costs time and can delay your graduation, which is why getting it right the first time matters. If you complete Florida Civics Prep as designed and still don't pass, we refund you.
What is the FCLE retake policy in Florida?
There's no statewide limit on how many times you can retake the FCLE. Each college or university sets its own scheduling rules for when you can retest. Your best strategy: pass it once and move on.
How is the FCLE different from AP Government?
Both cover civics content, but they're different exams. AP Government is a depth-of-knowledge course exam; the FCLE is a competency-based test focused on applying civic concepts under pressure.
